Janiszewski is traveling to places which are exotic and well known, but he doesn’t searching for local attractions. In India and Bangladesh despite photographing Ganges and traditional religious rituals, he went to forgotten places. He left big agglomerations behind and have been focused on traveling to periphery.

“Workers” are reportage about daily life of people who have jobs in shipyards and brickworks. Janiszewski is working for a long time observing deeply of their life. On this pictures we can see hard life of workers who are trying to live for two dollars per day.

Series „Workers” is not related with one place on the Globe. Pictures were taken mostly in Asia in India, Bangladesh , Philippines. All of photographs are black and white which is tribute for classical reportage and main inspirations – works of Sebastiao Salgado. Every picture is precisely composed, taken from short distance. The axis of this exhibition is rhythm of work during the day.
